BC’s first-time home buyer program already working, province ready to approve applicants: minister

Rich Coleman said that within six hours of the provincial loan program’s launch on Monday, 29 applications had been submitted. CMHC to hike mortgage insurance premiums March 17, 2017

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. is hiking mortgage insurance premiums for home buyers. The Crown corporation said the increases will amount to an average of $5 a month more for new borrowers.
